Role Description
PlayStation’s Data Platform enables teams and creators across the PlayStation ecosystem to build, scale, and evolve data driven capabilities. As PlayStation experiences become more intelligent and increasingly shaped by Data and AI, the platform helps teams make better decisions, enables creators to build incredible experiences, and supports what millions of players enjoy every day.
You will drive the roadmap forward for specific capabilities within the data platform, ranging from real time systems to unstructured data.
Responsibilities

Identify High Impact Opportunities:
- Build a deep understanding of how data is used across PlayStation today, how those needs are evolving, and where platform gaps limit impact.

Set the Direction:
- Own and evolve the roadmap for specific capabilities within the Data Platform, making clear trade offs that balance immediate needs with long term platform health.

Apply Technology with Purpose:
- Understand relevant data and AI developments and apply them selectively to strengthen the platform and support meaningful business outcomes.

Lead Through Partnership:
- Work side by side with engineering and stakeholders, bringing clarity and context so the right problems get solved.

Drive Execution:
- Engage at a technical level to shape product requirements, prioritize features, and guide day to day execution to move the platform forward.

Champion the Platform:
- Articulate the value and direction of the Data Platform to drive alignment, confidence, and adoption across PlayStation.

Measure What Matters:
- Define success for the platform and use it to guide prioritization, investment, and decisions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in product management focused on data platforms or data intensive products at scale
- Solid understanding of modern data technologies and trends, with a demonstrated ability to apply them in service of business outcomes
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform prioritization and product decisions
- Proven platform mindset, including experience making trade offs that balance scalability, flexibility, and usability
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex data concepts to diverse audiences
- Understanding of data ethics, privacy, and responsible data usage at scale
- Experience working closely with engineering, analytics, and cross functional product teams to drive execution
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, with a bias toward ownership and impact
