CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for a Premium Auditor. This opportunity will be a fully remote intern position. This 12-week paid program offers hands-on corporate experience, meaningful exposure to day-to-day operations, and valuable preparation for a future career at CopperPoint.
This Premium Auditor internship will partner with our Supervisor, Field Audit and VP, Enterprise Premium Audit on learning how to conduct and complete an insurance premium audit for Workers Compensation and General Liability policies.
In your role, you will support the Premium Audit team by:
- Learning basic manual rules for workers compensation and general liability lines of coverage.
- Learning the end-to-end process on completing an insurance premium audit.
- Learning how to complete a final audit within our audit and underwriting systems.
- Supporting our Data Analyst and Trainer with reports and workload inventory management.
- Providing additional / ad-hoc assistance as needed by the team.
Qualifications
- A current college undergraduate pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and related software, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with an emphasis in reviewing and interpreting data.
- Good interpersonal skills to quickly develop trust, credibility, and respect from all levels of staff.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in pursuing a career in the insurance industry post-graduation.

- Salary: $20-$21.30 per hour
- Travel Commitment: CopperPoint is thrilled to host all interns at our Phoenix, AZ office in June and August for team building, training, and engagement activities, concluding with a celebration of intern achievements.
- Work Location: Full Time Remote - Phoenix, AZ & Seattle, WA
- Time Commitment: 30 hours per week
