• Execute assigned month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules. • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of reconciling items. • Support income statement review through expense analysis, variance explanations, and identification of unusual activity. • Perform accounting activities related to prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, intercompany transactions, and notes receivable/payable. • Build and maintain appropriate supporting documentation for transactions and controls, including Information Used in Controls (IUC). • Partner with Senior Accountants and Accounting Managers to identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation efforts. • Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and responding to routine inquiries. • Utilize Excel and accounting systems to manage large data sets and perform calculations accurately and efficiently. • Collaborate effectively with practice controllers and internal stakeholders to support timely and accurate financial reporting. • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
