- Demonstrated ability to model total cost of risk (premium optimization, deductibles/retentions, captives if applicable) and conduct multi‑year financial forecasting.
- Proven cross‑functional partnership with Legal, Finance, Safety, Operations, and IT to embed risk controls into business processes.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, including board‑level reporting and presentations.
- Preferred professional certifications: RIMS‑CRMP, CRM, FRM, CRCMP, or CRP.

- Set enterprise risk policies: Establish policies for property, casualty, cargo, auto, cyber, environmental, and emerging risks aligned to growth.
- Measure and report performance: Define KPIs for claims, broker effectiveness, loss trends, and program efficiency; brief executive leadership on exposures and trends.
- Apply analytics and risk tech: Use advanced analytics and tools to identify loss drivers, model scenarios, and guide operational mitigation strategies.
- Build and lead the team: Develop a high‑performing risk organization across insurance placement, claims, safety collaboration, and risk technology integration.
