Job Description
Role Description
Apollo is hiring for what comes next. We call them Product Builders. People who carry practitioner-level GTM expertise, prototype fast, and close the loop from customer insight to production validation without waiting for someone else to move first. Smaller teams, fewer handoffs, end-to-end ownership. If that's how you already work, we should talk.
This role owns Autonomous AI Agents, the evolution of Apollo's AI Assistant into a goal-oriented, always-on direct report for every rep. You will define how the assistant orchestrates specialized agents, earns trust through progressive autonomy, and works where reps work across every channel they use.
What you will own
- Agentic orchestration spanning scheduled, event-driven, and user-initiated execution modes.
- Progressive autonomy framework that governs how the assistant earns trust over time.
- Multi-channel delivery so the assistant works where reps work: Slack, iMessage, WhatsApp, email, SMS, and in-product.
- AI quality and evaluation infrastructure across accuracy, relevance, and reliability.
What you will do
- Go deep with customers to understand their workflows through direct engagement and research.
- Prototype fast using Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI tools.
- Write clear specs and make hard tradeoffs.
- Define the trust model for the assistant's autonomy.
- Build and scale evaluation infrastructure.
- Measure whether it worked with analytics.
- Drive alignment across GTM, Support, and cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
- AI-native builder with experience in prototyping tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
- High agency and strong ownership.
- Product judgment focusing on high leverage problems.
- Customer empathy to optimize for user experience.
- Execution excellence in defining, shipping, measuring, and iterating.
- Technical fluency to engage with engineering as a credible partner.
- Domain expertise in GTM motion.
- Strong collaborator who communicates clearly and builds trust quickly.
- Experience shipping agentic AI products with measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, orchestration, trust models, failure handling, and evaluation of autonomous systems at scale.
- Bonus: experience building your own GTM agent.
Benefits
- Equity; company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses.
- 401(k) plan; at least 10 paid holidays per year.
- Flex PTO and parental leave.
- Employee assistance program and wellbeing benefits.
- Global travel coverage.
- Life/AD&D/STD/LTD insurance.
- FSA/HSA and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
