Orange Barrel Media + IKE Smart City is seeking a driven and ambitious Account Executive to join our Local Sales Team in Dallas. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career sales professional looking to build a strong foundation in media sales while working with one of the most innovative companies in the Out-of-Home industry.
In this role, the Account Executive will focus on:
- Prospecting new business
- Building client relationships
- Developing creative advertising solutions that help brands stand out in the urban landscape
The ideal candidate is competitive, curious, and highly motivated to grow their sales career. You'll work alongside a collaborative and experienced sales team while gaining hands-on experience in developing proposals, pitching clients, and closing deals.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the challenge of opening new doors, and wants to make a visible impact on the growth of our Dallas market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of sales experience (media, advertising, or B2B sales experience is a plus)
- Previous experience in OOH, Digital, or Broadcast media is a plus
- Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with a competitive drive to win new business
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and translate client needs into a viable media plan
- Analytical thinker with the ability to quickly assess unfamiliar or unexpected situations and offer creative solutions
- Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
