Role Description

The Lead Product Manager, Commerce Platform will play a critical role in the ongoing evolution of our direct-to-consumer commerce ecosystem. Reporting to the Commerce Platform Product Lead, this role partners closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to translate strategic priorities into high-impact platform enhancements that drive fan engagement, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

This individual acts as the operational hub for commerce product execution—coordinating priorities, managing sprint-level delivery, and ensuring that business objectives are met across all touchpoints of the commerce platform.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support the Commerce Platform Product Lead in managing third-party platform vendors, including day-to-day coordination, backlog grooming, and release planning.
  • Translate business requirements and stakeholder feedback into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and platform documentation.
  • Track progress of development tasks and releases, ensuring that timelines, scope, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Partner with internal Product, Engineering, Monetization, and Operations teams to deliver features that align with the broader commerce roadmap.
  • Monitor platform performance and user experience metrics, identifying and communicating opportunities for optimization.
  • Manage the intake of enhancement requests, evaluate business impact, and prepare recommendations for prioritization.
  • Support cross-functional meetings and platform reviews, preparing agendas, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Contribute to vendor relationship management, including monitoring SLAs, reporting performance metrics, and helping to manage development budgets.
  • Collaborate on platform testing, QA validation, and release readiness reviews to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in e-commerce platforms, checkout systems, digital payments, and fan engagement technologies, bringing forward relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with third-party purchase (Apple and Google Pay) and payment vendors to ensure integrations remain current and explore innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in product management, platform management, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors or SaaS platform providers strongly preferred.
  • Prior exposure to large-scale consumer or subscription-based digital ecosystems is a plus.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital payments, APIs, and user experience fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to manage project deliverables and timelines across multiple teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complex technical topics for business stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha).
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

Benefits

  • Annual discretionary performance bonus, awarded at the sole discretion of the Company.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life/AD&D insurance.
  • Short- and long-term disability.
  • Fertility and family-forming assistance.
  • Wellbeing allowance.
  • Educational assistance.
  • Mental health coaching/therapy.
  • Tax advantaged accounts such as HSA and healthcare/dependent care FSAs.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Time off benefits that include vacation, sick time, and personal days.
