The Architectural Solutions Consultant (ASC) is a national subject-matter expert responsible for driving growth of demountable wall solutions through strategic partnerships, lead generation, and technical opportunity support. This role builds and maintains industry relationships, supports Furniture Account Executives (FAEs) on wall opportunities, and ensures seamless connection between customer needs, our wall manufacturer, design feasibility, and sales execution. The ASC plays a dual role: strategic sales enablement and technical advisory, ensuring our demountable wall offering is positioned competitively and successfully across the U.S.
Duties & Responsibilities
Build and manage national strategic partnerships (manufacturer, A&D, GC, etc.) that generate qualified demountable wall opportunities.
Serve as the primary technical advisor to FAEs on all demountable wall opportunities, from early qualification through close.
Provide conceptual design guidance, solution feasibility, and pricing recommendations while partnering with internal designers and manufacturer resources for full layouts.
Support opportunity strategy, positioning, and competitive differentiation to increase win rates.
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure accurate scoping and solution alignment.
Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Category Ops, PM, and Installation to ensure end-to-end solution quality and delivery readiness.
Maintain strong product knowledge across key wall systems, competitive products, and market trends.
Create a repeatable national engagement model that improves process consistency, handoffs, and pipeline visibility.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in architectural wall systems, modular construction, furniture systems, or related design/technical sales.
Proven success in building strategic partnerships and driving sales pipeline.
Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction terminology, electrical/mechanical interfaces, and structural considerations.
Ability to read and review CAD drawings, architectural spec books, and installation requirements.
Excellent communication skills (executive presentations, customer conversations, and detailed technical communication).
Strong business and financial acumen; ability to influence through data.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of experience in architectural wall systems, modular construction, furniture systems, or related design/technical sales.
Experience supporting a national sales organization.
Connections within A&D, construction, GC, and architectural product networks.
Familiarity with CET, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design platforms (internal designers can own full design).
Experience with demountable wall pricing tools and manufacturer product lines.
The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity.
