Job Description
Role Description
Project Managers lead and execute projects in support of Granicus’ suite of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. We do this through specialized teams of digital communicators and legislative experts. Strong candidates have a proven track record of successfully managing projects for government clients, as well as demonstrated leadership capabilities.
A desire to be part of a results-driven, client-focused, fast-paced team who loves the mission of providing best-in-class service to clients is a must.
What Your Impact Will Look Like
- Manage complex mission-driven projects for public sector clients
- Own the project scope, timeline, and budget
- Responsible for coordination of cross-functional teams to best serve Granicus customers
- Oversee quality assurance, execution, delivery, reporting, and contract compliance for all project deliverables
- Leverage company standard processes and tools for executing, tracking, and billing projects
- Serve as an innovator to strengthen the value of Services projects and to expand offerings
- Provide expertise as a trusted advisor to internal resources, customers, and partners
- Maintain a proactive approach to executing customer initiatives, anticipating customer needs and guiding decisions based on data and best practices
- Partner with and consult Sales and Customer Success and other internal teams in pursuit of Services opportunities
- Provide feedback to sales and support functions on project execution in retrospective meetings where applicable to adjust proposal and process changes on future projects
- Survey and analyze customer satisfaction of projects delivered by department
- Enlist internal stakeholders to help navigate within a customer organization and manage escalations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing complex projects
- Experience managing projects and working with distributed/remote teams
- Experience and/or enthusiasm for public service, citizen engagement, legislative processes, and communication
- Commitment to maintain and exceed Granicus’ standard of excellence in project management, deliverables, and personnel
- Enjoy managing simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to satisfy project and client objectives and achieve consistently high customer satisfaction feedback
- Demonstrated project management experience, or any equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Proficient use of CRM solutions (Salesforce preferred)
- Proficient use of project management solutions
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office solutions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Possess superior communication (oral and written) and analytical skills

- Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
- Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies.
