Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Remote Video Editor with experience in AI-assisted editing for faceless videos. This role sits within the Marketing division and is responsible for producing high-quality video content independently while meeting deadlines and ensuring alignment with Cardinal Education’s brand and content strategy. The role may also support the marketing team with occasional ad hoc projects such as research, graphic design, and creative collaboration.

• Edit and produce faceless videos using AI video editing tools.
• Transform scripts, raw footage, or AI-generated assets into engaging videos.
• Work independently to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
• Add captions, motion graphics, and visual effects as needed.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure videos align with content goals.
• Troubleshoot and optimize AI video editing workflows.
• Assist with ad hoc marketing projects such as market research and basic graphic design support.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and stakeholders to support ongoing marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with AI-assisted video editing, especially for faceless or voiceover-driven videos.
• Proficient with AI video editing software (Veo3, Flow, Whisk, Gemini Ultra, CapCut, Eleven Labs, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and visual storytelling skills.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant experience with faceless videos is required.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Graphic or web design skills are a plus.

Requirements

• Full-time, long-term commitment required.
• Availability to work full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific Time (remote). Occasional weekend work may be required during peak season.
• Responsiveness via Slack, Gmail, and Zoom during working hours.
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• High level of flexibility and professionalism when receiving and implementing feedback.
• Strong personal accountability and ownership of assigned work.
