Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and service-driven Virtual Branch Counselor (VBC) to join our member service team. In this role, you will connect with members primarily through phone and digital channels, providing personalized financial support and proactive outreach. You’ll play a key role in strengthening member relationships by conducting outbound calls, identifying financial needs, and recommending solutions that help members achieve their financial goals.

  • Engage with members through inbound and outbound calls, chat, and digital communication channels.
  • Proactively reach out to members to follow up on service requests, discuss financial opportunities, and strengthen relationships.
  • Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and loan-related questions.
  • Recommend credit union products and services that support members’ financial well-being.
  • Educate members on digital banking tools and self-service options.
  • Help grow membership, deposits, and consumer lending through meaningful conversations and referrals.

Qualifications

  • Passion for helping people and delivering exceptional member service.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort with outbound calling and phone-based sales conversations.
  • Ability to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
