Role Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide strategic legal support to a fast-growing global partner and channel organization. You will partner with business teams to negotiate complex alliance agreements, advise on legal risks, and enable revenue growth through the partner ecosystem. The position requires a proactive attorney who can balance legal compliance with practical business solutions while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. You will manage high-volume contract workflows, provide actionable guidance on regulatory matters, and contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is motivated by driving business impact while delivering high-quality legal counsel. This role also offers exposure to innovative technology solutions and the chance to influence global partner programs.

  • Advise the global channel sales organization on partner programs, strategic alliances, and operational initiatives, addressing legal risks including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, antitrust, and compliance matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of partnership agreements such as distribution, resale, referral, managed services, systems integrator, and cloud marketplace contracts.
  • Provide clear, actionable legal guidance to internal teams, translating complex legal concepts into practical business advice.
  • Support the evolution of standard form agreements, negotiation playbooks, templates, and internal policies to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Prioritize and manage a high-volume workflow, delivering timely results and ensuring contracts progress smoothly through the organization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align legal guidance with business objectives and accelerate partner program growth.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of in-house legal experience, preferably in a technology company, with significant exposure to channel partnerships and alliance agreements.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing in at least one U.S. state, with a demonstrated record of success as a practicing attorney.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations impacting channel sales, including privacy, data protection, and information security matters.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts efficiently while maintaining a business-friendly approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience working independently in a remote environment and as part of a high-performing team.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems.
