This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who enjoys bridging the gap between advanced technology and business outcomes. You will work closely with sales teams and customers to implement solutions, demonstrate products, and provide technical guidance that drives adoption and success. The position involves supporting the full sales lifecycle, responding to RFIs/RFPs, conducting proofs of concept, and providing post-sales technical support. You will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping them understand how technology can transform their network operations. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Manage all technical aspects of the sales process, including product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and customer onboarding.
- Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs while supporting marketing efforts to develop impactful product collateral.
- Collaborate with product teams to channel customer feedback and feature requests into the product roadmap.
- Partner with Customer Success teams to maintain high customer satisfaction, guide integrations, and share product updates.
- Work closely with account teams to meet or exceed sales objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to represent technical solutions and build relationships.
- Travel regularly (30%+) to customer sites and events, adapting to territory and project needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, systems engineering, or network engineering roles within high-tech environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of networking, including Cisco/Juniper routers, Linux server management, and application protocols (DNS, BGP, NetFlow, TCP/IP, HTTP, SNMP).
- Ability to engage with stakeholders ranging from engineers and architects to senior executives.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language.
- Understanding of DDoS attacks and basic mitigation strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Must be located on the U.S. East Coast.
- Bonus: experience in pre-sales engineering, technical marketing support, or post-sales customer enablement.
