What the day will look like

  • Provide technical leadership in a team that generates business insights, identify impactful recommendations, and communicate the findings to clients
  • Brainstorm innovative ways to use our unique data to answer business problems
  • Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems typically in the form of scalable Databricks pipelines
  • Research, build, and apply LLMs and NLP-based systems for insight extraction and data enrichment use-cases
  • Create advanced statistical and machine-learning models to provide specific recommendations to business leaders
  • Communicate complex quantitative analyses in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
  • Leverage data visualization to convey insights in a compelling way
  • Work in a team, take initiative, and share your knowledge with others

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
  • Four years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or at least two years of experience with an advanced degree
  • Proficiency with Python and Databricks
  • Knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with multivariate linear regression models and hypothesis testing
  • Experience with collaborative development environment like GitHub

 Preferred Experience

  • A passion for data visualization
  • Proficiency with ETL processes
  • Experience with Databricks and Snowflake
  • Experience with advanced econometrics and machine learning methods for social sciences
  • Experience with discrete choice experiments or conjoint analysis

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $105,000 - $138,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.  The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
