Role Description

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to shape how the world discovers and understands PLAIO. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, data, and AI. You will:

  • Shape how PLAIO communicates with the world.
  • Attract the right pharmaceutical companies to our platform.
  • Help turn awareness into real pipeline and customers.
  • Work closely with our VP of Business Development and the commercial team.
  • Enjoy experimenting, learning fast, and seeing the direct impact of your work.

Responsibilities

  • Messaging and content:
    • Turn complex product capabilities into clear, human messaging for pharma audiences.
    • Plan and run our content calendar: blog posts, case studies, landing pages, social posts.
    • Help position PLAIO as a trusted voice in pharmaceutical supply chain planning.
  • Campaigns and growth:
    • Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns (Google, LinkedIn).
    • Lead our SEO and organic growth efforts.
    • Track what's working, learn from what isn't, and improve continuously.
  • Digital presence:
    • Grow PLAIO's LinkedIn presence and engage with the pharma supply chain community.
    • Build nurture flows, email campaigns, and lead scoring models.
    • Align marketing tightly with sales goals and company growth.
  • AI as a daily tool:
    • Use modern AI tools to accelerate your work - writing, research, experimentation, automation.
    • Help the team discover new ways AI can improve how we communicate and market.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience (B2B or SaaS is a strong plus).
  • Strong content instincts - you can take something complex and make it clear.
  • Experience running campaigns across digital channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEO, email).
  • Comfortable with data and analytics - you use numbers to make better decisions.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Curious about AI tools and eager to integrate them into your workflow.

Bonus

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Background in life sciences, pharma, or supply chain.
  • You've already been experimenting with AI in your marketing work.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to shape the marketing function at a fast-growing AI company working in a global setting.
  • Real influence over marketing strategy at a company with global ambitions.
  • A collaborative, supportive team that values ideas over titles.
  • Flexible, family-friendly work environment.
  • Modern offices in Reykjavik (Groska).
  • Gym membership subsidy.
  • Subsidised lunch.
  • Transportation allowance for eco-friendly commuting.
  • Paid phone and internet.

About the team you'll join

You'll report to our VP of Business Development and work day-to-day with the commercial and product teams. We are a mix of:

  • Pharma domain experts.
  • Developers.
  • Engineers.
  • Designers.
  • Commercial people.

Most of us came to PLAIO because we wanted to build something that matters in an industry that's been underserved by good software. We believe in directness, curiosity, and giving people space to figure out the best way to do their work. If you have an idea, you'll be heard. If you want to try something, you'll get the room to experiment.

We work by the values: simplicity, growth & ambition.

Regarding your application

We review applications on a rolling basis. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply. If you're excited about this role but don't tick every single box, we'd still love to hear from you.
