Role Description

This leadership role is responsible for driving the people strategy and organizational effectiveness for commercial and support functions. You will act as a strategic partner to VP-level and executive leaders, translating business objectives into impactful talent, development, and engagement initiatives. The role involves leading organizational design, succession planning, and performance management programs, while also mentoring and developing a People Business Partner. You will collaborate with Total Rewards, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition teams to align HR initiatives with business goals and ensure a seamless employee experience. This position offers the opportunity to influence culture, strengthen leadership capabilities, and enhance the employee lifecycle in a fully remote, high-growth environment.

  • Serve as the primary People Business Partner to senior leadership, translating organizational goals into actionable talent and development plans.
  • Lead headcount planning, succession strategies, and organizational design initiatives to ensure the right talent is in the right roles.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, fostering a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and growth.
  • Identify skill gaps and partner with Talent Development teams to implement learning programs aligned with future business needs.
  • Oversee the development and growth of a People Business Partner, ensuring effective delivery of HR services.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards and People Ops teams to ensure seamless support in compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Use analytics and engagement insights to anticipate challenges, proactively improve retention, and support decision-making across the organization.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and industry best practices, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and workers’ compensation requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with significant exposure to organizational design and strategic HR leadership, preferably in CPG or high-growth industries.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing innovative, efficient, and employee-focused HR programs.
  • Proven experience managing and advising leaders in remote and distributed environments.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and flexible, thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Comfortable navigating HRIS systems, Microsoft platforms, and other people management tools.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20–25% for meetings, offsites, onboarding, and development programs.
  • Embody servant leadership, strong ethical standards, and a commitment to employee experience and continuous improvement.
