As a Sr. People Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, driving talent priorities, enabling manager effectiveness, and supporting organizational growth in a fast-paced, science-driven environment. You will navigate complex employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational changes with confidence and discretion, while providing data-informed insights that guide business decisions. Partnering closely with leadership and the broader People team, you will co-own key people programs, influence through collaboration, and help shape scalable solutions that enhance team performance. - Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic guidance on talent, workforce planning, organizational design, and team effectiveness.
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, including complex investigations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Support performance cycles, talent reviews, and succession planning to drive equitable and consistent application across teams.
- Provide actionable insights from people data to identify trends, diagnose organizational issues, and recommend interventions.
- Lead or co-own cross-functional People programs, ensuring scalable impact and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Ensure consistent application of policies, compliance with employment laws, and effective collaboration with Legal when needed.
- Contribute to enhancing manager effectiveness and organizational capability through training, coaching, and change management initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of progressive HR/People Business Partner experience, including substantial employee relations exposure.
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders in medium-to-large functions using a consultative HRBP model.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex ER cases, investigations, coaching, and performance documentation.
- Experience in organizational design, workforce planning, and guiding leaders through change initiatives.
- Ability to co-own horizontal People programs and deliver results through influence without direct authority.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and risk assessment, with the ability to partner with Legal.
- Excellent manager coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Data-informed mindset with proficiency in HRIS (preferably Workday), Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint), and people analytics tools.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion with sensitive information, and consistent follow-through.
