Role Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead enterprise-wide food and beverage category strategy, driving value creation across cost optimization, supplier performance, and revenue enablement. The Senior Category Manager will oversee complex supplier ecosystems, balancing global leverage with local flexibility to meet diverse venue and operational needs. This position is highly collaborative, partnering with Operations, Culinary, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams to implement scalable and compliant sourcing strategies. You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and influence key stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. The role emphasizes operational excellence, sustainability, and supplier inclusion while leveraging data to inform category decisions and long-term enterprise value. Ideal candidates thrive in matrixed organizations and bring a combination of commercial acumen, negotiation expertise, and strategic thinking to the procurement function.

• Develop and execute multi-year Food & Beverage category strategies aligned with business growth, venue needs, and market trends.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including RFPs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations in collaboration with stakeholders and legal.
• Build and manage high-performing supplier partnerships, monitoring performance across cost, quality, service, and compliance metrics.
• Influence and advise Operations, Culinary, Finance, and venue leadership, translating operational needs into scalable sourcing solutions.
• Drive supplier inclusion, sustainability, and ESG objectives, aligning procurement practices with corporate purpose and community impact.
• Leverage procurement technology and analytics to track category performance, savings, and supplier metrics, enabling data-driven decisions.
• Support enterprise procurement transformation initiatives, championing best practices in category management, sourcing, and supplier governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, with significant exposure to Food & Beverage categories.
• Proven track record leading category strategies across complex, multi-site or enterprise sourcing initiatives.
• Strong commercial, financial, and negotiation skills, including experience managing high-value agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption in decentralized or matrixed environments.
• Experience with procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa), supplier diversity programs, ESG initiatives, and procurement innovation.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze spend, track savings, and make informed recommendations.
• Preferred: Passion for live entertainment, culinary innovation, and venue operations; strategic thinker with a bias for execution.
