Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join and help run our Delivery Team - Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Looking for a candidate with strong consulting and business background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering client projects. This Manager role involves leading a Delivery team and overseeing Salesforce Cloud practices. Responsibilities include executive sponsorship of projects and deliverables, as well as the continuous review and proposal of new delivery processes. The aim of these process improvements is to optimize Magna's consulting methodologies and project execution across the entire Delivery organization.
Responsibilities:

Client Management
- Serve as the executive sponsor for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted advisor relationships with clients.
- Facilitate effective communication between the client, internal teams, and any third-party vendors.
- Step in to de-escalate any potential project challenges with client.

Portfolio Management
- Capacity Management - Allocate resources effectively across projects, staff employees based on capacity, forecast hiring.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff, status updates, and retrospectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure deliverables meet client requirements and quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of reusable methodologies and best practice.

Employee Management
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment. Work with People Operations to plan team events.
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify development opportunities for team members.
- For underperforming employees, provide coaching to improve, or put into PIP process.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Consultants, Solution Architects and Developers.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team member.

Solutioning
- With the project Solution Lead, gather and analyze client business requirements to understand their needs and objectives.
- With the Project Lead, present solutions and recommendations to clients, ensuring alignment with their goals.
- Provide subject matter expertise on the Salesforce platform and its various clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Data Cloud, etc.).
- Collaborate with technical architects to design scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and trends.

Sales Support
- Identify opportunities for follow-on work and new projects within existing clients.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, such as solution definition and proposal development.
- Contribute to the growth of the consulting practice through knowledge sharing and internal initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years in management position
- 2-5+ years in consulting space
- 2-5+ years in technology space
Requirements
- CSM or PMP certification (preferred)
