Job Description

• Edit long-form YouTube content with strong emotional impact and narrative clarity • Shape story arcs through pacing, music, and structure to create meaningful connection • Identify and elevate authentic, vulnerable moments • Collaborate with producers to refine tone and storytelling approach • Deliver polished final videos and supporting assets • Maintain organized project files and consistent delivery timelines • Use audience insights to improve retention while preserving emotional authenticity • Balance subtlety and restraint with powerful storytelling choices

Job Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of professional editing experience with a strong storytelling portfolio; YouTube experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to craft emotionally resonant narratives
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable tools
  • Strong understanding of pacing, tone, and narrative structure for YouTube
  • Experience with documentary, human-interest, or interview-driven content
  • Excellent taste and restraint in music and editorial choices
  • Detail-oriented with a high bar for polish and emotional authenticity
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote production environment
