Role Description
Paradigm Max Q is seeking an Executive Director to lead Reliability Control Board (RCB) activities and program control efforts supporting the F-35 Lightning II Program. This executive-level role will oversee a multidisciplinary team responsible for coordinating reliability governance, performance analysis, and program control activities across the F-35 enterprise. The Executive Director will work closely with government leadership, engineering teams, and industry partners to ensure reliability issues are identified, analyzed, and resolved while maintaining alignment with program cost, schedule, and readiness objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Reliability Control Board Leadership:
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of Reliability Control Board (RCB) activities supporting the F-35 Lightning II Program.
- Oversee analysis of reliability metrics, system performance trends, and fleet readiness indicators.
- Ensure reliability issues are properly documented, analyzed, and elevated through RCB governance processes.
- Guide cross-functional teams in identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.

Program Control & Performance Management:
- Direct program control activities including program performance tracking, schedule oversight, and risk management.
- Provide executive insight into reliability impacts on program cost, schedule, and operational readiness.
- Ensure leadership has clear, data-driven insights into system reliability trends and mitigation strategies.

Technical & Operational Coordination:
- Coordinate with engineering, sustainment, logistics, and program management teams across the F-35 enterprise.
- Support integration of reliability findings into sustainment planning and system improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate collaboration between government program offices and industry partners to address reliability challenges.

Executive Engagement & Strategic Communication:
- Lead preparation and delivery of executive-level briefings related to reliability performance and corrective actions.
- Serve as a senior Paradigm Max Q representative to government program leadership and stakeholders.
- Provide strategic recommendations on improving system reliability and sustainment effectiveness.

Organizational Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and grow teams supporting RCB and program control functions.
- Ensure contract deliverables meet quality, compliance, and schedule requirements.
- Support company growth initiatives and strengthen relationships with government customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, Systems Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience supporting major defense acquisition or aviation programs.
- Demonstrated experience with reliability analysis, sustainment governance, or engineering review boards.
- Experience managing program control functions within complex defense programs.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with senior government and industry leadership.
- Strong analytical and strategic communication skills.
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred).
