Remote/Commuter Opportunity - Open to candidates within the United States
Position Summary:
The Director, Analytics Business Partner is a key member of the Analytics and Customer Experience team (ACE), supporting all the analytical needs for a single therapeutic area across sales, marketing, market access and medical affairs. This role will be responsible for integrating the insights and building a 360-degree perspective of our customer.
Essential Functions:
- Proactively discovering, synthesizing, and championing actionable multi-source insights to optimize commercial strategies and to uncover new opportunities for the brand and/or portfolio.
- Define, track and monitor brand KPIs/HVAs across performance and activity metrics including field and media metrics.
- Lead the Quarterly and Monthly Business Review processes in partnership with the Brand team.
- Leverage available data either in existing business intelligence reports or excel based analyses to provide secondary analytics to the brand.
- Translate and prioritize key business questions while partnering with the ACE team, to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to generating and synthesizing insights.
- Facilitates delivery of key insights by engaging the appropriate ACE content experts (SMEs).
- Leads the analytical discussions and participates in cross-functional workstreams (internal and external stakeholders), resulting in clear problem definition, defined workplans and timelines, managing execution of projects and activities, and delivering synthesized actionable insights and recommendations, on behalf of the ACE team
- Works closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to proactively lead the development of insight plans/projects that are aligned with business goals, strategies and prioritized business questions.
- Effectively communicates key analytic and research insights to multiple audiences throughout the company (in partnership with other experts within ACE).
- Ensure continuous alignment and strategic partnership with cross functional teams and ACE.
- In partnership with the Brand team, represent the ACE team in the yearly strategic brand planning process and lead the situational analysis, strategic development, tactical planning and budgeting process in coordination with the ACE team.
- Collaborates with peers in the ACE group to bring primary research insights and secondary data analytics together to bring a unified story on the brand/portfolio of brands.
- Thrives both as an individual contributor as well as a collaborative partner
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Accredited Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years market research, competitive intelligence, business analytics and/or brand marketing experience.
- 3+ years in pharma, healthcare, life sciences biotech, or medical devices.
- Demonstrated relationship development with the ability to work effectively both independently or within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence others, negotiate and build consensus.
- Teamwork/Collaboration Works well with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Experience managing projects from beginning to completion.
- Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical data (e.g., sales, specialty pharmacy, payer, claims and fulfillment data, longitudinal patient-level data)
- Analytical skills with strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize insights into clear recommendations.
- Experience in data visualization and reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, PowerBI, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, namely Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Advanced degree, including MBA, MS, or Pharmacy degree.
- Knowledge of secondary data sources and analytic methods
- Multi-disciplinary experience
- Strong preference for candidate to based in Deerfield, IL office
Travel
- Willingness & ability to travel up to 10-20% domestically. International travel may be required.
- If based remotely, additional travel will be required to Deerfield, IL to meet the needs of the role and the business.
The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $220,000 - $250,000 and eligibility for a 25% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company’s long-term incentive plan.
