• Scope legal transcripts for accuracy and completeness
• Apply correct legal terminology, formatting, grammar, and punctuation
• Research and verify legal terms and references as needed
• Meet firm deadlines and manage workload efficiently
• Maintain consistent, high quality across all assignments
Job Requirements
- 2 plus years of verbatim legal transcription experience
- Strong knowledge of legal document formats
- Ability to consistently produce 300 pages per week
- Excellent attention to detail and legal terminology skills
- Strong typing, listening, and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and collaborate with our production team
- Must be located in the United States
- Preferred: MAXScribe experience
- Legal transcription or court reporting training or certification
