A Systems Engineer is a multidisciplinary professional who oversees the engineering and management of complex systems throughout their lifecycle. They focus on how components work together as a whole, rather than on individual parts in isolation. Systems Engineers apply systems thinking to design, integrate, and manage complex systems, ensuring they meet specified requirements and function effectively within operational constraints.
As a Systems Engineer, you will:

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering, system administration, or related technical role.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, testing and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, database systems/administration, and system integration.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience participating in User Acceptance Testing and handling incident response.
Requirements
- Relevant technical certifications (MCSE, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+).
- Experience with automation and scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with production monitoring and related monitoring tools.
- Experience implementing and maintaining security controls and compliance requirements.
- Background in performance tuning and capacity planning.
