Job Description
Role Description
In this role, your mission is to provide the evidence and insights our Product Managers and Project Managers need to make confident, data-backed decisions about where the product goes next. You won't just be generating reports; you'll be the "detective" who uncovers user trends and market shifts, helping the PM prioritize the features that will have the biggest impact.
- Empower PM Decision-Making: Use reporting tools (such as Sigma) to build intuitive dashboards that give PMs a clear view of how features are being used.
- Inform Feature Prioritization: Analyze user journeys and friction points to help the PM understand which improvements are urgent and which can wait.
- Provide Competitive Context: Perform competitive analysis to help the PM understand where we have an edge and where we’re falling behind.
- Bridge the Gap in Problem-Solving: Dive into the data to assess the impact of issues or bugs, allowing the PM to decide whether to pivot resources toward a fix or stay the course on new builds.
- Validate Hypotheses: Provide baseline data and post-launch analysis to confirm if the change actually moved the needle.
- Enable Transparency: Support the Project Managers by keeping dashboards up to date on Portfolio metrics for visibility into progress on projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma; Associate’s degree, certifications in data analysis or business analytics are a plus.
- 2+ years in an analytical role (Product, Marketing, or Business Intelligence) supporting stakeholders in making strategic choices, preferably in the Fintech industry.
- Strong Communication: Ability to explain data in plain English, focusing on the "so what?" for the product's future.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Notice trends and bring them to the table first, uncovering root causes and contributing factors.
Requirements
- Data Reporting Proficiency: Comfortable using data reporting tools, such as Sigma and Snowflake, to explore data and create visualizations.
- A "Partner" Mindset: Enjoy working closely with PMs to translate business questions into clear data projects.
- Market Curiosity: Natural interest in the competitive landscape and enjoy digging into what other products are doing well.
- Analytical Clarity: Ability to break down messy problems into clear, actionable findings for the product team.
- Effective Communication: Capable of having effective meetings and discussions in a remote environment, both verbally and in writing.
Benefits
- Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage
- Flexible Paid Time Off
- 401(k) + Match
- Mental Health Support & Well-Being Program
- Paid Maternity & Paternity Leave
- Education Assistance
- Company-funded Lifestyle Spending Account
