Job Description
SRG is seeking a Field Operations Analyst with training in survey sampling, survey recruitment, and/or online panel management. The Analyst would work to set up population frames for recruitment, monitor the data collection process of numerous, complex projects to ensure project specifications are executed correctly, and coordinate with SRG Analytics, SRG Research Managers and Panel Operations to achieve successful and timely delivery of data collection. This position would report to the SVP of Research Delivery and Survey Science.
This position is within YouGov's Scientific Research Group (SRG) with headquarters in San Francisco, California. Scientific Research is YouGov’s business unit responsible for technology, academic, health, and public affairs research. This role would sit with the newly created Sampling Logistics unit that works with SRG’s researchers and data analysts fielding cutting edge research for technology companies, academics, health researchers, policy think tanks and unique corporate clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with researchers and the Panel Team on SRG recruitment needs.
Consult and advise researchers on proper sampling setups.
Coordinate with the Analytics team to manage and catalog population frames.
Monitor the data collection of numerous, complex projects to ensure project specifications are executed correctly.
Coordinate with project managers to achieve successful and timely delivery of data collection.
Script solutions to determine sampling feasibility for SRG researchers.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
The preferred candidate would have 2 to 3 years of experience in online survey research and be able to work with multiple stakeholders to accomplish daily tasks.
Hands-on experience with Sampling tools.
Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with R is preferred, but not required
Formal training in survey research and survey sampling
Attention to accuracy in fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Results-driven focus and ability to see issues through to completion in a timely manner
Able to excel and work with cross-functional teams all while working remotely
Ability to work Pacific business hours is preferred
For roles based in California, New York, Colorado, Massachusetts, or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $80,000 - 90,000 USD
Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and additional benefits.
