Role Description

Epicor Consulting Services is seeking a highly skilled Change Management Consultant to lead and deliver Change Acceleration Process (CAP) workshops and Risk Management Workshops for ERP implementation project teams. This role will partner closely with internal project leadership, consultants, and customer executive sponsors to drive successful organizational change and risk readiness across implementation programs.

  • Facilitate CAP (Change Acceleration Process) Workshops
    • Deliver Epicor’s structured CAP workshops to customer project teams, including:
    • Leading CAP Essentials and CAP full day or multiday workshops, both virtual and onsite.
    • Guiding participants through core CAP topics such as:
      • Common obstacles to change
      • Critical success factors
      • Stakeholder analysis
      • Effective communication planning
      • Human element considerations
      • GRPI, behavioral change, and momentum building techniques
    • Producing all CAP deliverables including activity reports, communication planning templates, and presentation materials.
    • Ensuring adherence to Epicor’s workshop standards and ground rules (participation, engagement, expectations, and confidentiality).
  • Lead Epicor’s formal Risk Management Workshop for ERP project teams, including:
    • Instruction on identifying project related risks tied to scope, timeline, and budget.
    • Facilitating likelihood/severity assessments and guiding teams in building risk response plans.
    • Developing customer specific risk registers aligned with project objectives.
    • Delivering both onsite and virtual workshop formats.
    • Leveraging CAP outputs to reinforce risk prioritization and linkage to business objectives.
  • Consulting, Coaching, and Change Strategy Development
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer project sponsors and leaders, helping them understand their role in driving successful change.
    • Guide project teams through the creation of communication strategies, adoption plans, and stakeholder engagement frameworks.
    • Help teams identify structural or organizational barriers to change and create actionable recommendations.
    • Support Epicor internal teams by contributing to CM practice development and continuous improvement of CAP and Risk methodologies.
  • Collaboration and Internal Alignment
    • Partner across Epicor Professional Services, Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure CM readiness prior to kickoff and throughout the implementation lifecycle.
    • Participate in pre‑sales conversations or scoping sessions (when appropriate) to position CM deliverables and customer expectations.
    • Maintain accurate documentation, workshop summaries, and customer facing deliverables within internal systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills, including virtual presentations.
  • Proven experience in organizational change management, consulting, or facilitation roles.
  • Strong workshop facilitation skills with virtual and onsite audiences.
  • Expertise in communication planning, stakeholder management, and risk assessment methods.
  • Ability to translate CAP and risk frameworks into customer specific strategies that support ERP change adoption.
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills; able to influence executives and frontline users.
  • Meet utilization targets and completes project deliverables on time.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP or similar enterprise systems.
  • Prior exposure to Epicor’s CAP methodology or similar change management models.
  • Familiarity with ERP project risk frameworks, risk register development, and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years applicable manufacturing, supply chain, and/or manufacturing accounting experience, and/or demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • 10+ years of consulting/CAP/RISK related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
