Role Description
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for a wide variety of analytical tasks including financial modeling and reporting, expense budgeting and monitoring, forecasting, and general financial analysis. This role will be a key member of the FP&A organization working as a highly visible business partner for the executive team providing insight, guidance, and recommendations on financial and operational performance.
Job Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting and Analysis
- Design, develop, and deliver informative reporting on various financial metrics coupled with action-oriented insight on which stakeholders can make decisions.
- Develop complex financial modeling to accurately predict business performance and explain key variances across the organization.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of Adaptive Insights, primarily related to forecast logic, assumptions, and headcount management.
- Assist in driving best practices in reporting and analysis including KPIs and dashboards.

Planning and Forecasting
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision making.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual business plan, monthly forecasts, and rolling 3-year strategic plan.
- Partner with accounting and the ELT to review monthly actual expenses, perform variance analysis, and update the forecast.

Business Partnering
- Inform and educate business areas as to the financial impact of decisions, as well as recommending an optimal or preferred solution to influence strategic direction.
- Influence decision making related to acquisition integration, manage cost savings initiatives, and forecast one-time investments.
- Develop divisional/functional and Company-level measurements to create awareness of and accountability for results.
- Prepare customized management-level reports and dashboards in support of the Company's initiatives or programs.
- Summarize complex information and concepts and clearly communicate up to Senior Management.

- Champion data management and data quality across the organization.
- Help drive operational efficiencies and process optimization.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reporting for Board and Senior Management as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
- 6-8 years of financial analysis, accounting, or related areas.
- Experience in a private equity backed company required; SaaS preferred.
- Advanced Excel and modeling skills required.
- Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Insights.
- Knowledge of the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Good understanding of operational processes within a company.
- Analytical, problem solver.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus.
- Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities.
- Must have a collaborative, organized, and open work style.
