Role Description
Join the Cleveland Clinic team, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. Cleveland Clinic is recognized as one of the top hospitals in the nation. In this role, you will provide Financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics and both standard and ad hoc reporting to support the organization’s strategic and operational needs. You will deliver decision support for executive caregivers and may also be responsible for general ledger reconciliations, expense analysis and chargemaster maintenance.
A caregiver in this position works remotely out of Northeast Ohio from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. Candidates must reside in Northeast Ohio to attend occasional town halls or on-site project work as needed.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Provide financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the organization's needs.
- Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information.
- Provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues.
- Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes.
- Retrieve and manipulate complex information with database tools, such as SAS and Teradata.
- Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and four years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience OR
- Master’s degree and three years of experience OR
- Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience and three years of experience
- Ability to complete sophisticated analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation
- Ability to lead projects and people
- Strong understanding of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development
Requirements
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification (preferred)
- Financial modeling experience (preferred)
- Understanding of valuation concepts (IRR, ROI, NPV) (preferred)
- Experience with financial valuation and modeling (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
- In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
- In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
