Job Description
• Design and develop enclosures for electronic systems, including: Outdoor Camera enclosures (optical & thermal), Outdoor and industrial-grade housings (battery, solar controllers etc)
• Select materials and manufacturing methods across: Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, Plastics and composites
• Design for environmental durability: Dust, moisture, temperature, vibration
• Collaborate closely with EE and RF teams to ensure: Thermal Performance, Antenna placement and RF transparency
• Support prototyping, testing, and production handoff
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience
- Strong experience with enclosure design for electronics
- Working knowledge of IP ratings (IP65, IP66, IP67, etc.) and related standards
- Experience designing parts for: CNC machining, Sheet metal, Injection molding, 3D printing
- Proficiency with modern CAD tools (currently in Fusion 360)
