• Model in SolidWorks Pump components • Size and select system components • Design components and systems within the pump product line including support design and product development • Develop an understanding the customer needs and translating them into functional engineering solutions • Assist the efforts in creation of specifications, design, and test methods for the new products • Interface with manufacturing associates to provide technical guidance on DFMA and manufacturing capability • Facilitate studies and research to develop scope definition, design response correlations and design solutions • Act as a Subject Matter Expert • Resolve complex engineering problems in a timely manner • Ensure effective communication within the team and between the team and the organization • Actively manage the timeline along with project manager/project engineer and ensure clarity on critical path
