Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Program Specialist to join our team supporting the Medicaid to Schools (MTS) Program. In this critical role, you will serve as the primary consultant and relationship manager for assigned school districts, driving program compliance, revenue maximization, documentation accuracy, and long-term client retention.
- Deliver expert-level consulting and leadership to partner districts.
- Ensure contractual success, high client satisfaction, and sustained loyalty.
- Combine strategic consulting, stakeholder engagement, hands-on implementation support, training, auditing, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Education, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field).
- 2+ years of experience in Medicaid billing, school-based Medicaid programs, special education administration, healthcare consulting, or client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid to Schools (MTS) / Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) programs (Texas and/or New Hampshire experience highly preferred).
- Proven track record of client retention, relationship management, and driving measurable program outcomes.
- Excellent consulting, presentation, and training facilitation skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial/documentation performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms.

- Travel by car up to 35% as needed and maintain a valid driver’s license.
