Role Description
The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of medium to high‑value customer accounts, ensuring long‑term satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. The AM oversees several key accounts, balancing relationship management, growth planning, and cross‑functional coordination. In addition to account stewardship, the AM plays a meaningful role in prospecting and new account development, helping identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities that align with organizational goals.

- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders through proactive communication and routine business reviews.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities across the portfolio (renewals, upsell/cross-sell), developing account plans with clear objectives and financial targets.
- Drive new business development via targeted prospecting, qualification, discovery, and early-stage solution positioning in partnership with marketing and sales leadership.
- Advance opportunities through the sales pipeline with accurate forecasting, proposals, and solution recommendations coordinated with internal teams.
- Partner cross-functionally (account specialists, operations, customer service, product, and strategic account teams) to resolve issues, transition/onboard accounts, and maintain accurate CRM documentation and leadership updates—adapting quickly to shifting priorities and leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve research, outreach, and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications

- Experience using generative AI tools in a business setting.
- Background with CRM or other structured data management platforms.
- Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities.
- High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.
- Experience in custom plastic components and the sale of non-commoditized solutions.
