Role Description
As the Manager, Business Analysis & Forecasting at BetterHelp, you’ll join a diverse team of licensed clinicians, engineers, product pros, creatives, marketers, and business leaders who share a passion for expanding access to therapy. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical analytics skills with strong business judgment and a passion for turning data into strategic advantage.
- Ownership of data-backed revenue forecasting models, modeling KPIs and user behavior, and regular reporting on business trends and outcomes.
- Perform in-depth analytical deep-dives to uncover actionable insights on marketplace dynamics, user behavior, and conversion levers.
- Partner with the CFO and business decision makers to shape and operationalize the company’s strategic roadmap.
- Work closely with Data Science, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to design KPI frameworks and performance dashboards.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to business stakeholders by transforming complex data into clear recommendations.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years in analytics, business intelligence, or insights roles, preferably within D2C or fast-paced, high-growth tech environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus.
- Expert SQL skills, preferably proficient in at least one additional language (e.g., Python, R) and with one or more BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities; strong presentation skills in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and leveraging big data technologies or platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to link analytics to business outcomes and influence company performance.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong prioritization skills.
