About the Role
This role sits at the intersection of product security, customer success, research operations, and technical consulting. As a Project Manager specializing in content and documentation operations, you will own the intake, coordination, and editorial lifecycle of critical project documentation. You will partner with subject‑matter experts across technical and operational teams to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in all written deliverables.
This position is ideal for someone who excels in fast‑paced environments, communicates with precision, and brings strong technical writing and project management capabilities. Experience in security or advanced technology is helpful but not required—curiosity, rigor, and adaptability matter most.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder & Operations Management
- Triage inbound stakeholder requests quickly, acknowledging within defined SLAs and providing actionable follow‑up within 48 business hours.
- Maintain and update work instructions, standards, guidelines, and policies to reflect evolving best practices.
- Conduct initial risk assessments on stakeholder requests and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
AI‑Enabled Documentation Workflows
- Use approved AI tools to accelerate drafting, editing, and quality checks while maintaining human oversight for accuracy.
- Generate first‑draft SOPs, templates, summaries, and documentation using structured prompts and refine with SME input.
- Improve clarity, consistency, and accessibility of documents using AI‑assisted editing.
- Maintain documentation hygiene by identifying outdated, redundant, or unclear content.
- Enhance knowledge‑management discoverability through clear titles, TL;DRs, structured formatting, and defined terminology.
Project Documentation & Editorial Leadership
- Own the creation, refinement, and timely delivery of all project documentation.
- Develop and maintain templates, slide decks, and structured documentation frameworks.
- Facilitate asynchronous and synchronous review cycles using collaborative editing tools.
- Lead virtual document‑review sessions to drive alignment and secure sign‑off.
- Compile analytical reports summarizing security gaps, operational insights, and project progress.
- Ensure clarity, structure, and precision in all written materials, including executive‑ready presentations.
Technical Research, Analysis & Knowledge Enablement
- Review technical initiatives to identify confidentiality or security risks and translate findings into clear guidance.
- Collaborate across engineering, research, and operational teams to promote alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Develop internal training materials, learning resources, and documentation for diverse audiences.
Strategic Communications & Meeting Management
- Support and occasionally lead business updates, roundtables, and team meetings.
- Represent the team in cross‑functional discussions, capturing decisions, action items, and follow‑through requirements.
- Prepare concise, well‑structured summaries and presentations for senior leadership.
Process Optimization & Standardization
- Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, and best‑practice documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across internal standards, trackers, and policy documents.
- Implement repeatable workflows for meeting notes, action logs, and reporting.
Program Management & Performance Tracking
- Partner with leadership to define short‑ and long‑term program objectives.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure program health, documentation quality, and operational efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce rework, improve clarity, and streamline processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees in business, social sciences, communications, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, technical writing, content operations, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience producing technical, procedural, or executive‑level documentation.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, distributed environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted documentation workflows is a plus.
- Experience in technology, consumer electronics, or advanced research environments is beneficial.
- PMP certification is advantageous but not required.
