• Lead and develop multiple engineering teams (8–20+ engineers total scope) • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Architecture to shape roadmaps and technical direction • Improve execution predictability, quality, and velocity across teams • Establish strong engineering practices (SDLC, testing, observability, reliability, operational excellence) • Create a healthy, accountable, high-trust team culture where individuals and teams can realize their full potential. • Manage cross-portfolio dependencies and stakeholder alignment • Use data and metrics to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes • Manage, support, and evaluate engineers’ performance. • Hire new talent for the team and offer coaching and development opportunities. • Communicate and collaborate with other managers, stakeholders, and contractors. • Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed. • Provide technical guidance & support in all phases of SDLC. • Ensure delivery of high-quality products. • Identify production and non-production application issues. • Evaluate information and solve complex problems. • Understand complex systems and pay attention to details to avoid issues and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. • Be an advocate of security best practices, champion and support the importance of security within engineering.
