Job Description

• Responsible for building and sustaining strategic relationships with physician partners, including ancillary providers and multiple groups across various Texas markets. • Manages contract performance in support of network quality, availability, and financial goals and strategies for all lines of business (Medicare, commercial etc.). • Collaborates cross-functionally to contribute to provider compensation and pricing development activities and recommendations. • Provides Behavioral Health network development, maintenance, and refinement activities and strategies in support of cross market network management unit. • Ensures resolution of escalated issues related to claims payment, contract interpretation and parameters, or accuracy of provider contract or demographic information.

Job Requirements

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience with demonstrated, proficient managed care network negotiation skills.
  • 5–7 years of experience with strong working knowledge of competitor strategies, complex contracting methodologies, financial and reimbursement arrangements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and resolve issues effectively.
  • 3–5 years of experience and solid understanding of Commercial HMO, PPO, and Medicare products.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Texas region, including comprehensive familiarity with the Texas Behavioral Health provider landscape.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and related applications.
  • Candidates must reside in the state of Texas.
