What you will be working on
- Act as a strong sales leader to maximize revenue across the region. Develop the region’s channel business, with a solid understanding of Security and Data Protection. As a leader in the region, you will have the ability to lead commercial negotiations, ensuring we profitably grow revenues and margins across all opportunities.
- Drive and exceed monthly and quarterly balanced business results, while building a long-term sustainable business to deliver revenue and market share growth in the region.
- Ensure the region develops and maintains strong sales pipeline growth across all product and market segments in parallel to monitoring competitor activity and anticipate market changes.
- Manage a talent pipeline in the organization by recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining sales representatives. On an ongoing basis, the Regional Sales Director will travel within the region to motivate employees and provide management oversight with the ability to inspect, measure, and drive accountability.
- Generate new ideas and innovative approaches to accelerate the development of the business in the region. You will work to establish strong relationships in both our partner and end-user eco-system, utilizing current and future relationships with customers, partners, and key market players to drive success in your region
- BA / BS.
- 5+ years of managing a sales team across multiple regions and a solid understanding of a two-tier distribution model.
- Excellent business acumen, negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience in mid-market and enterprise sales & marketing.
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, while changing and realigning priorities.
- Proven track record of success in a transactional and project based sales environment.
- A demonstrated passion for Security and/or Storage markets.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
