Description
Our client, is in need of 1 Epic Healthy Planet certified Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role is primarily remote and will very likely be extended well past the initial 6 month duration date. The projects this resource will be assisting with are: Medicare Advantage, Advanced Risk Adjustment Framework, predictive models, cogito/reporting, just a few.
Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of recent Epic healthy planet build experience, ideally with Epic’s Advanced Risk Adjustment Framework and Provider Workflow Enhancements work. Day to day this resource will be working with various end users to gather & build requirements, building/developing, testing and bringing things live. This will also include any end user support during go live, too.
Key Responsibilities
• Interview users and stakeholders to develop business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Create test plans, technical documentation, release notes, end‑user guides, and training materials.
• Analyze and document business processes; communicate requirements through data models, process flowcharts, and technical specifications.
• Break down gathered information into detailed data sources, data types, user roles, interface needs, reporting needs, and administrative system needs.
• Present concepts clearly using narratives, diagrams, and storyboards.
• Research industry practices, analyze data, and deliver findings in written or oral presentations with visual aids.
• Coordinate user groups and project teams, including scheduling meetings and managing minutes and follow‑up activities.
• Collaborate across teams to create designs, mockups, and prototypes.
• Explain technical design issues to non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute effectively within a fast‑paced team environment.
• Lead business initiatives involving complex projects.
• Work within timelines and resource constraints defined by the PMO.
• Maintain ongoing communication with users, managers, directors, and vendors to support current initiatives.
• Demonstrate experience with HL7 communications and working in a PMO with cross‑functional teams.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Maintain current Epic certification (current or one version prior).
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and a solid experience in clinical healthcare technologies and processes.
