This role focuses on high-impact pre-signature activities, including structured data discovery, architectural design, workload estimation, demo creation/execution and contributing to our Snowflake Center of Excellence to build reusable IP.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the Snowflake Data Cloud and understands how modern data architectures—including AI/ML, Data Clean Rooms, and Streamlit—drive measurable outcomes for enterprise clients. You will play a key role in evolving how AI and LLMs (via Snowflake Cortex) support the sales and delivery process. Success requires a blend of deep technical rigor, executive presence, and a close partnership with our Delivery teams to ensure every proposed solution is both innovative and executable.
Role Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver relevant demos using Snowflake and the relevant ecosystem partners (ex. dbt, Fivetran, Sigma, etc)
- Translate complex business goals into Snowflake-centric solutions (ex. Medallionarchitecture, Cortex AI, Intelligence, Snowpark, Data Clean Rooms, Horizon, etc) and relevant ecosystem partners (ex. Dbt, Fivetran, Sigma, etc).
- Build Level of Effort (LOE) staffing/timeline estimates and recommended approach/scope
- Collaborate with delivery to ensure their review/approval of the scope, solution approach and estimates
- Partner with delivery to co-develop reusable architectural patterns, "quick-start" templates, and industry-specific data models to improve win rates and margins.
- Present technical narratives to CDOs and CTOs, ensuring a seamless, documented handoff from the Sales cycle to the Implementation team.
Experience/Skills Required:
- 8+ years in Data Architecture, with at least 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake pre-sales experience.
- Proven success achieving sales quotas
- Technical and creative skillset to develop technical demos that resonate with business and IT, develop the demo story and effectively deliver
- Proven background in solution design for Snowpark, Cortex AI, Data Sharing/Marketplace, and Iceberg Tables.
- Familiarity with ecosystem partners (ex. Dbt, Fivetran, Sigma, etc)
- Demonstrated success leading complex RFPs, building multi-year consumption estimates, and drafting detailed SOWs.
- Experience reviewing and refining AI-assisted outputs (LLMs) with a structured approach to data privacy, prompt engineering, and output quality.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits while aligning Sales, Engineering, and Finance teams.
- Exceptional ability to translate "data speak" into business value for executive audiences.
- Must have full-time permanent US work authorization.
- Additional Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Ability to design consumption-based models to help clients forecast Snowflake credit usage
- Snowflake SnowPro Core and SnowPro Advanced Architect (or Data Engineer) certifications.
- Hands-on experience with the broader modern data stack (dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, etc) and BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI).
