Job Description

Solution Architect (Marketing Cloud)
 
The Marketing Cloud Solution Architect provides technical guidance to the development of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud to support business and product strategies. Solutions Architects lead technical requirements gathering sessions and oversee and approve creation and maintenance of application and system design documentation.

Responsibilities
  • The Solutions Architect should have sound knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Will be responsible for successfully integrating Salesforce with Marketing Cloud
  • The Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect will work with Account Executives in a Sales Engineering function to appropriately scope project proposals
  • Works effectively individually and with Coastal Cloud and client members toward customer satisfaction and success
  • Takes direction from project team members and immediate supervisor
  • Seeks opportunities to develop professional skills
  • Achieves necessary technical certifications
  • Managing multiple client engagements and working with associated team members
  • Run workshops and have the ability to develop and present frameworks and methodologies to articulate delivery processes, operating models, solutions, and barriers to facilitate discussion
  • Help us refine and improve by identifying, creating, and enhancing internal processes and methodologies based on recurring customer feedback and evolving industry standards
  • Understand and map Business Processes & Challenges into our technical product suite, ensuring scalable, secure, comprehensive solution designs.
  • Present high-level overviews of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and integration capabilities
  • Identify project issues/risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve
  • Lead consultative engagements with clients on the technical and business challenges related to their digital marketing initiatives
Required Skills, Education and Experience
  • 8 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years of Solution Architect experience (or a similar role), excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Minimum of an active Marketing Cloud Consultant certifications
  • Solid experience in Data Modeling concepts and tools.
  • Applied knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales, Services, and Marketing functions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, able to present complex concepts effectively at both the tactical and strategic/executive levels.
  • Ability to develop practical solutions and methodologies on the Salesforce platform.Excellent strategic & technical thinking. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proven track record of working with multi-stakeholder teams, specifically IT, M&A, Infrastructure / Security, and Sales / Business Operations.
  • Familiarity with data architecture/schema, including relational data models and SQL syntax, documentation of data models, and data flows.
  • Familiarity with systems integrations such as CRM, Content Management, POS/Commerce, or Web Analytics preferred
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
  • Note – Determination of Senior (role name) will be based upon the candidates’ previous relevant experience and depth of skills, and will be determined through our skills interview process.

  • Education – Bachelors degree in a related area preferred
  • Travels with client or project team as needed
