The Business Systems Manager, reporting to the VP of Business Systems, supports the delivery and continuous improvement of the company’s core business systems as the organization scales. You translate business strategy into clear system needs and priorities, and help ensure the company’s core platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, OpenAir, and adjacent tools) evolve with strong controls, clean data, and high adoption.
In this role, you partner with functional teams to turn messy requests into clear problems, decisions, and trade-offs; you shape scope toward reusable patterns instead of one-off fixes; and you drive alignment on what matters most. You contribute across the full change lifecycle—from intake and discovery through design, build coordination, testing, rollout, enablement, and post-launch performance—using AI to accelerate analysis, draft stronger first passes, and pressure-test options without sacrificing quality.
To ensure systems are trusted and used correctly, you support governance and documentation standards, maintain a clear backlog of work, and promote strong requirements and process design. You stay current on platform capabilities and continuously strengthen the business systems landscape as the company grows, including supporting acquisition integrations and cross-system simplification.
