Job Description
Role Description
We’re currently seeking an experienced Lease Analyst to support one of our operator clients with Oklahoma-focused lease administration work. This role is ideal for a contractor with recent hands-on Quorum experience and deep knowledge of Oklahoma lease structures, legal descriptions, and regulatory considerations. The Lease Analyst will be responsible for accurate new lease setup, detailed research, and maintaining precise lease records within the client’s system. This is a high-accuracy role requiring strong technical system proficiency, independent execution, and disciplined attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities

New Lease Setup
- Set up new leases in Quorum with accuracy and completeness
- Interpret leases, assignments, amendments, and related title documents
- Enter legal descriptions, burdens, terms, and critical provisions correctly
- Validate setup against source documentation prior to finalization

Lease Research
- Conduct detailed research on Oklahoma lease records and related agreements
- Review supporting title documentation to confirm ownership and lease terms
- Identify discrepancies, missing data, or inconsistencies
- Coordinate internally to resolve research questions as needed

Record Setup Accuracy & Maintenance
- Maintain clean, audit-ready lease records within Quorum
- Review existing records for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure alignment between source documents and system data
- Document updates and maintain organized electronic records
Qualifications
- Recent, hands-on experience working in Quorum required
- Strong Oklahoma lease administration experience required
- Ability to interpret oil and gas leases, assignments, amendments, and related documents
- Understanding of legal descriptions, burdens, and lease terms
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy discipline
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Highly responsive in both internal team communication and client-related updates
- Demonstrated track record of delivering accurate lease setups with minimal rework
