Job Description

Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you’re capable of?

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. It’s a massive, ambitious opportunity that demands the best of us, every day, as we build the emerging onchain platform — and with it, the future global financial system.

To achieve our mission, we’re seeking a very specific candidate. We want someone who is passionate about our mission and who believes in the power of crypto and blockchain technology to update the financial system. We want someone who is eager to leave their mark on the world, who relishes the pressure and privilege of working with high caliber colleagues, and who actively seeks feedback to keep leveling up. We want someone who will run towards, not away from, solving the company’s hardest problems.

Our work culture is intense and isn’t for everyone. But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be.

While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

Coinbase Legal Operations is looking for aProgram Manager, Contracts & Analytics to join our team focused on the hands-on configuration and ongoing optimization of our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems. The primary mission is to provide deep technical and operational support to the Institutional Sales team, ensuring seamless, compliant, and highly efficient client contracting processes. You will be the key driver in building, maintaining, and integrating CLM technologies like Ironclad, Evisort, and Salesforce, as well as developing and managing the comprehensive contracts reporting framework and system of record for all agreements.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Build and maintain contracting workflows within Ironclad, with a focus on accelerating the Institutional Sales contract pipeline.
  • Lead project management of large, cross-functional contracts-focused initiatives, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
  • Support integration planning and execution between CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad, Evisort) and other core business systems (e.g., Salesforce), specifically to streamline the institutional contracting process.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive contracts reporting framework, including data extraction, metadata integrity, and building data models to maintain the system of record for all agreements.
  • Partner with Institutional Sales to surface contract insights and analytics from their client agreements.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 5 - 7+ years proven program or project management experience, preferably within Legal Operations or a related field.
  • Direct experience supporting a fast-paced Institutional Sales or similar B2B client-facing team, with a deep understanding of their contracting needs and priorities.
  • Expert-level hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, specifically Ironclad.
  • Strong working knowledge of legal technology, including AI tooling for contract review and data extraction and analytics (e.g., Evisort).
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with data management, reporting, and building data models for contracts or other structured business data.
  • Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with integration planning and implementation for core business systems like Salesforce.
  • Experience in the financial services or technology industry, particularly with legal/compliance requirements related to institutional clients.
  • Familiarity with the legal, regulatory, and technical landscape of cryptocurrency and Web3.
  • Familiarity with building dashboards, program governance and creating more efficient processes related to intake and workflow management.
