Role Description
As a Consultant – Project Manager specializing in Cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management (IAM), you will use your scrum master skills to drive execution and delivery of IAM related projects. This is an opportunity to work within a structured PMO environment while supporting enterprise projects in a hybrid role that spans scrum master responsibilities and traditional project manager functions.
- Lead complex, multi-workstream cybersecurity and IAM projects with enterprise-wide impact
- Own CIAM workstreams
- Provide project status reporting and budget tracking
- Manage RAID logs
- Build executive-level reporting materials
- Clearly articulate project risk, trade-offs, funding needs, and timeline impacts to senior leadership
- Drive cross-functional alignment across security, engineering, infrastructure, and business teams
- Drive execution and delivery across all projects
- Support IAM and security-related platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader cybersecurity strategy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading complex enterprise projects, including multi-workstream initiatives with executive visibility
- Experience operating within a formal PMO structure, reporting into senior leadership, and adhering to enterprise governance standards
- Proven ability to develop and present to leadership
- Strong experience communicating project risk, defending timelines, and navigating funding discussions under pressure
- Experience in cybersecurity, IAM, or security-adjacent platform environments
- Working knowledge of Identity & Access Management concepts (e.g., provisioning, authentication, governance, PAM, SSO, MFA)
- History of budget oversight, project tracking, and RAID log management
- Ability to sequence complex initiatives, manage dependencies, and drive accountability across technical and business teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to translate ambiguity into actionable plans
- Experience in a financial institution is a bonus!
