Job Description:

JR Automation is searching for an experienced Account Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain relationship with (potential) customers.

  • Generate purchase orders to meet or exceed annual goal.

  • Continually contact prospective customers based on leads from business directories or other sources.

  • Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses.

  • Assist Applications Engineers as needed in developing solutions to the customer’s needs.

  • Support all aspects of sales and marketing for geographic territory including market research such as: industry trends, geographic market understanding, competitive landscape, and niche opportunity identification.

  • Support lead generation activities, value proposition development and communication.

  • Support marketing efforts including trade show participation, marketing collateral development, and trade associations involvement.

  • Support aftermarket sales by coordinating with BUs to align product offerings with market needs, standard product design, and identification of unique IP opportunities.

  • Goal setting and alignment of activity to support goals

  • Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses.

Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of previous sales and new business development experience.  

  • Possess a winning and creative approach to work when identifying customer solutions.  

  • Proven ability to continually grow and develop accounts based on leads from customer stakeholders and prospecting within other divisions of their organization. 

  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time. Remainder of time is home based.
