Role Description
The Senior Industry Advisor is a senior, customer-facing sales role responsible for accelerating revenue growth by combining deep industry expertise with executive-level relationship leadership. This role partners closely with assigned Account Managers to influence and advance strategic opportunities—helping shape client vision, articulate business value, strengthen technical credibility, and support the end-to-end sales process from discovery through close.
Responsibilities

Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level prospects, partners, and stakeholders in Planning, Operations, and IT.

Market Intelligence:
- Analyze trends, monitor competitor activity, and develop strategies to address market shifts.
- Conduct research to stay ahead of technological advancements, leadership trends, and competitive dynamics in planning, execution, and reserves in oil and gas.

Sales & Negotiation:
- Act as a senior resource to support the end-to-end sales process, including pitching, negotiating, and closing contracts with assigned account manager.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with marketing, product, and sales teams to align strategies and drive new business.

Strategic Advising:
- Analyze industry trends and provide actionable advice to senior leadership regarding market shifts, growth opportunities, and risks.

Sales/Industry Support:
- Assist sales teams with technical knowledge, product positioning, and client presentations.

Pipeline Management:
- Work with assigned account owners to utilize CRM tools to track, forecast, and manage sales pipelines, ensuring revenue targets are met.
- And other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, industry expert or sales roles, in oil and gas, AI, SaaS, and technology.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Economics, or specialized industry studies.
- In-depth understanding of oil and gas planning is preferred. Other technical oil and gas knowledge is ideal.
- Ability to connect with customers and other industry experts to discuss trends and developments. Ability to speak at events and present to senior leadership as customers is required.
- Identifying and resolving complex industry-specific challenges and aligning them to Quorum solutions to drive opportunities and customer engagements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

- The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification, and passport/ID validation.
- Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate will be required to ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable.
