Job Overview
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for generating invoices, maintaining billing records, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely processing. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process invoices in accordance with company policies and contract terms
- Review billing data for accuracy and completeness prior to invoice submission
- Maintain billing schedules, records, and documentation
- Resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with all internal teams to ensure correct billing handling
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist with collections when necessary
- Reconcile billing accounts and identify inconsistencies or errors
- Assist with month-end closing processes
- Maintain compliance with company financial procedures and internal controls
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the billing function
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of responsibility to operate ethically in all day-to-day work
- High School Diploma or GED Certification
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage daily tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft products
