About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for a startup operator who is skilled at cross-functional collaboration to support the day-to-day tasks of the People Operations team.
You are a great fit for this role if you are organized, efficient, and passionate about creating positive employee experiences for a diverse, dynamic organization. You will provide administrative support across various People Ops functions including recruitment, employee relations, employee onboarding/offboarding, and other general HR administrative activities.
Role Responsibilities
People Ops Administrative Support
Maintain accurate and compliant employee files, records, and HR data through regular audits
Support the performance review cycle and assist with benefits administration as needed
Respond to employee HR inquiries, modeling Flourish values in challenging moments
Support additional projects as assigned
Recruitment Support
Maintain candidate tracking system, evaluate resumes, and conduct initial candidate screens
Coordinate assigned hiring workflows and interview schedules with hiring managers
Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks and systems setup
Drive our reference check best practices
Onboarding & Offboarding
Facilitate consistent and efficient onboarding/offboarding processes
Prepare new hire paperwork and coordinate orientation schedules
Provide direct support to new employees during their onboarding period
Own the 45 day and 90 day structured check-in process
Ensure smooth offboarding processes including return of company property
Additional Duties
Event planning and attendance at 2+ company events per year
Additional duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or comparable experience in the field
1-2 years of experience in an HR support role
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Preferred:
Knowledge of HRIS systems
Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
Experience with applicant tracking systems
HR certification (aPHR, PHR, SHRM) a plus
Schedule: Schedule can be 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5:30pm EST. Employee may be based anywhere in the US but must be available to work this schedule.
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Remote, but attendance and events support is required at 2+ company events per year
Salary: $50,000-$59,000
