Note: (Must be licensed to practice in California)
About Our Practice
We are on a mission to address loneliness and social isolation, one of the most significant public health challenges of our time. Research shows its impact can exceed that of heart disease, obesity, and smoking.
We are building a technology-enabled care platform that connects people through small, facilitated group experiences and shared lived stories, powered by an intelligent matching system. Our goal is simple: help people feel less alone, more supported, and more connected.
Our practice is grounded in Stanford-backed research, supported by experienced advisors and investors, and already serving early customers who are seeing measurable improvements in quality of life.
Role Overview
As an In-Network Therapist, Group Therapy, you will facilitate small, structured virtual therapy groups designed to reduce loneliness, build belonging, and strengthen emotional wellbeing.
You will work with adults navigating major life transitions who are seeking connection, shared experience, and clinically grounded group support within a technology-enabled care model.
Key Clinical Focus Areas
Our initial group offerings focus on life experiences where loneliness and isolation are especially common. Candidates should have experience facilitating groups in one or more of the following areas:
- Parenting support and caregiver stress
- Bereavement and grief counseling
- Divorce, separation, and relationship transitions
Experience in at least one of these areas is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate virtual, therapist-led group therapy sessions for adults experiencing loneliness, isolation, or major life transitions
- Lead groups focused on parenting, grief and bereavement, and divorce-related support
- Create a safe, inclusive environment that fosters meaningful connection
- Guide discussions using evidence-based therapeutic frameworks
- Collaborate with clinical and product teams to improve the group experience over time
- Maintain timely documentation using our transcription platform and uphold all ethical and clinical standards
- Support members in building sustainable peer connections beyond the sessions
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Active, unrestricted U.S. license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent)
- Credentialed as an in-network provider in California
- At least two years of experience providing psychotherapy
- Demonstrated experience facilitating group therapy or structured support groups
- Clinical expertise in one or more of the following: parenting and caregiver support, bereavement and grief, divorce and relationship transitions
- Comfort delivering care virtually and working within a technology-enabled model
- Strong interest in preventative, mission-driven mental health care
Why Join Our Practice?
You will be addressing one of today’s most urgent health challenges. Your work will directly improve quality of life and mental health outcomes for the people you serve.
You will help shape a new model of care that combines clinically grounded group therapy with thoughtful use of technology to reduce isolation in a measurable way.
This role offers remote facilitation, flexible scheduling, and contract-based opportunities with room to grow.
You will join a focused, mission-driven team committed to strengthening real human connection, backed by research and supported by experienced investors and advisors.
How to Apply
If you are a licensed therapist who believes in the power of group healing and connection, and you have experience supporting individuals through parenting stress, grief, or divorce, we would welcome the opportunity to connect with you.
